Buying earrings for a significant other is not as straightforward as some men wish it were. Despite this, a man can buy for a wife or girlfriend nice earrings that she will enjoy if he will simply remember to take notice of the kinds of earrings she likes.
Some of the types of earrings that women like to wear include:

• Studs – If a man’s significant other is the kind of woman who does not really wear a lot of extravagant clothing, then perhaps she would enjoy having earrings that are just studs. These are the simplest kind of earrings available and they typically are small and circular. The backs of these earrings are not visible. The studs are usually simply placed in a hole in the middle of the earlobe. Girls who have their ears pierced for the first time must wear studs at first.

• Danglers – Earrings that dangle an inch or two below the earlobe are often worn by women who want to attract attention to their necks, since the earrings often reach down below a woman’s face to where the neck begins. These earrings typically do not include items like diamonds or rubies on them, but they are often made of gold or sterling silver.

• Hoops – While most women will wear hoop earrings that are relatively small, not all women like wearing large hoop earrings. In fact, it sometimes takes an overall style and wardrobe to be able to pull off wearing large hoop earrings. Most men are best off leaving the large hoops alone.
By simply taking notice of the kinds of earrings his significant other likes to wear, a man can simplify the jewelry shopping that he needs to do.
